Some facts and perspectives on
advertising on this website
Numbers,
Quality: We average 1750 actual, unique visits (not "hits"
or robots - actual, single visitors) to this website, per month, roughly
21,000 per year. Including repeat visitors, about 2,600 per month. A
special niche, this is not about big numbers, but about who visits and
why. A good number visit over and over, particularly members, other ASIS
members, and others interested in security, for a variety of reasons
(consumers, businesses, business people, facility mangers, attorneys,
etc.). See a definition of our members and membership on the main home
page - it's a "Who's Who?" of professional security, the professional
security community of NE Ohio.
Interest in security: It is safe to say that no one visits
the ASIS website that doesn't have some decided interest in security in Ohio,
Cleveland, Northeast Ohio. You don't visit websites that you don't
have an interest in - when's the last time you visited a website for
"offset printing press air clutch retrofits"?
Getting here: Visitors only get here by typing in
www.asiscleveland.com or
from a website linking to us or from a search engine like
Google, Yahoo, MSN, and the like. So here's a test to do for yourself:
go to any of the major search engines and type in any one of something
like the following, or copy and paste into the search bar:
security employment Cleveland
security companies Cleveland
security professionals Cleveland Ohio
security professionals Ohio
security association Cleveland
security speakers on security issues
security resources Cleveland Ohio
ASIS Ohio
American Society for Industrial Security
industrial security Ohio
ETC. ETC. [

You should find
www.asiscleveland.com on the
FIRST PAGE OF EVERY MAJOR SEARCH ENGINE. This translates into
visitors. Email us if you find we don't appear, otherwise, as we'd like
to know.
Long term exposure,
investment: The point of all of this above is that your ads
will get exposure to many different people interested in security, and
over a long period of time. Advertising only really pays off in the long
term, by and large - it's not about quick results, while these can and
do happen, but it's about an identity that is built over time. The smart
money has always been placed on the long term exposure of a company,
their logo, their ad copy that is associated with products or service -
placed in front of the right audience. If your audience is security and
people interested in security, you are in right place to put your
advertising on a long term basis.
